Warranty And Legal Notice
The FAMEX RIDE conversion kit is warranted to the original retail purchaser when purchased directly from an authorized FAMEX Ltd. Dealer (Please ask for authorisation code before purchase) or on the only online store (www.famexride.com), to be complete and free from defects in materials and workmanship.
The limited warranty will not cover any online selling sites or eCommerce websites like eBay (except FAMEX
Ltd. eBay shop),Gumtree, Shpock…etc. All FAMEX RIDE product warranties are effective from the date of purchase for SIX months For the conversion kit, by the end-user provided the product is purchased in NEW condition. The limited warranty needs to be activated within ONE month from the date of purchase by sending an email to info@famexride.com with the original order number and detail of purchase to activate the limited warranty. After sending the detail, we will issue your warranty confirmation number. You need to keep it safe
during the warranty period.
If FAMEX Ltd. will not receive any activation request in 30 days from the date of purchase may decline the warranty or require an extra £100.00 to activate the policy. FAMEX Ltd. limited warranty does not cover or apply
to the following: Normal wear and tear; any damage, failure and/or loss caused by accident, shipping, misuse, neglect, abuse and/or failure to follow instructions or warnings as stated on the product or in the applicable owner's manual or using the product for stunt riding, ramp jumping, competition, acrobatics, trick riding or other similar activities, or use in any other manner for which such products were not specifically designed. This limited warranty does not apply to any products or components, mechanical and/or electrical, which
have in any way been altered from their original configuration by any person or any water damage, broken
wires. improper care, over-voltage, spin out. FAMEX Ltd. will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage,
failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. As we do not sell, an installed kit, so FAMEX Ltd. is the only referee to accept any claim. The limited warranty will not include the battery, spokes, rim. Those parts and/or products that are determined by FAMEX Ltd. to be defective and to qualify for warranty replacement, will be provided at no charge, only after a valid warranty claim is processed by FAMEX RIDE customer service department. The limited warranty claims
must be made by the original purchaser by submitting a warranty service request by sending an email to info@famexride.com within the warranty period. Any repaired or tested item must be collected within two
weeks after all the charges paid. If the goods are not collected within one month from date of collecting
notice, FAMEX Ltd. has the right to dispose in accordance with the Disposal of Uncollected goods Act 2020
such as by sale, auction or appropriation.
Shipping and handling fees will apply to all orders placed for warranty parts and/or products and will be invoiced to the customer/warranty claimant at the time said parts and/or products are ready to ship.
FAMEX Ltd. at its sole discretion has the option of replacing with a new part, or factory re-certified part. The limited warranty stated herein is instead of and excludes all other warranties not expressly set forth herein, whether expressed or implied by law or otherwise, including, but not limited to, any warranties for merchantability and/or fitness for any particular purpose. FAMEX Ltd. in no event is liable or responsible for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses in connection with their products. The liability of FAMEX Ltd. (FAMEX RIDE), hereunder is expressly limited to the replacement of goods complying with this warranty or at the sole discretions of FAMEX Ltd. to the repayment of an amount equivalent to the purchase price of the product in question.
This kit is installed, maintained and operated by the purchaser, FAMEX Ltd. under FAMEX RIDE brand, disclaims any responsibility for injury, damage or other consequences arising from the use of this product.
The FAMEX RIDE limited warranty does not cover or apply to any FAMEX Ltd. products used for rental or commercial
purposes. The FAMEX RIDE products are not designed for commercial uses.
The limited warranty does not cover or apply to any FAMEX Ltd. products sold by a non-authorized reseller
or retailer. The FAMEX RIDE limited warranty does not cover or apply to any replacement, maintenance or
accessory parts not sold directly by FAMEX Ltd. to the original retail purchaser.
WATER DAMAGE–The FAMEX RIDE wheel is water resistant (to a certain extent). It is not designed to use in
the rain. The bike should be stored indoors and never be left outside.
It should NEVER be submerged in liquids. Damage caused by water, dropping or any collision is NOT
covered under warranty.
